Whisperwood Trails

Whisperwood Trails is the calm one. You wander a hand-painted forest, solve light environmental puzzles and slowly piece together what happened to the people who lived there. There's no timer and no failure state, just curiosity pulling you forward.

The controls are a simple tap-to-move with the occasional swipe, and they never fight you. It's clearly built for one-handed play, which made it my go-to before sleep. The ambient sound design is lovely with headphones.

Because it's quiet and static much of the time, battery drain is low and the phone stays cool. It's short — maybe four hours — but it's the rare mobile game I'd happily replay.
